USB relay card with 16 outputs – technical description
The Yamutec® USB-REL16 modules are the ideal solution for load circuits with up to 0.5A or 10W. The 16 reed relays of the SIP series are combined with a multi connection system that... 100 percent protection against mismating guaranteed. To code the plug connections, all you need to do is cut off the coding lugs.
When developing our relay cards, we paid attention to compliance with electromagnetic compatibility standards. Our USB-REL16 module also meets the RoHS guidelines. This makes it ideal for use in industrial environments. About the control LEDs of the interface the activities and states of the relays can be easily read. The aluminum housing is stable and can be mounted on walls and top-hat rails.
Use several USB-REL16 modules in the same system
You can assign an identification number to our USB modules using the built-in on-board coding switch. This means you can use up to 7 modules at the same time. This makes it easier for you to work with large load systems.
USB relay cards with plug and play
We have placed emphasis on quick commissioning of our 16-channel relay cards. Thanks to the Human Interface Device (HID) process, driver installation is no longer necessary. You also benefit from more reliable and faster communication between the USB-REL-16 module and the control PC.
Integrated timeout function
The built-in timeout function is an output protection that automatically opens the relays of the Yamutec® USB-REL16 module. This happens if communication with the control PC breaks down or a software error occurs. For example, if your control system crashes, the load circuit switches off automatically and you avoid damage to the devices. You can decide for yourself after what period of time Timeout function should take hold. Set your desired timeout period in second increments.
