General description of the USB-REL32 module
The Yamutec® USB-REL32 modules are the ideal solution for load circuits with up to 0.5A or 10W. The 32 reed relays of the SIP series are combined with a multi-connection system that guarantees 100 percent protection against mismating. To code the plug connections, all you need to do is cut off the coding lugs.

When developing our relay cards, we paid attention to compliance with electromagnetic compatibility standards. Our USB-REL32 module also meets the RoHS guidelines. This makes it ideal for use in industrial environments. The activities and states of the relays can be easily read via the control LEDs on the interface. The aluminum housing is stable and can be mounted on walls and top-hat rails.

USB relay module with Plug and Play technology
We have placed emphasis on quick commissioning of our 32-channel relay cards. Thanks to the Human Interface Device (HID) process, driver installation is no longer necessary. You also benefit from more reliable and faster communication between the USB-REL32 module and the control PC.

The integration of multiple USB modules in a common system
You can assign an identification number to our USB modules using the built-in on-board coding switch. This means you can use up to 7 modules at the same time. This makes it easier for you to work with large load systems.

Timeout function
The built-in timeout function is an output protection that automatically opens or closes the relays of the Yamutec® USB-REL32 module. This happens if communication with the control PC breaks down or a software error occurs. For example, if your control system crashes, the load circuit switches off automatically and you avoid damage to the devices. You can determine yourself after which period of time the timeout function should take effect. Set your desired timeout period in second increments.

Software implementation
Yamutec®'s USB-REL32 modules enable seamless integration into various widely used programming languages through the included YMLib.dll file. This DLL file opens up a variety of possibilities and makes programming much easier.
