Technical description – Yamutec® 3A 8-fold Ethernet hybrid card

If you want to switch loads of up to 90 watts with your control and regulation circuit, then our 3A 8-fold Ethernet hybrid card is exactly the right thing for your project. The module's 8 optocoupler inputs can record signal voltages from 3V to 30V, with a maximum input current of 10mA. You benefit from the excellent signal processing of the optocouplers, which reliably detect input signals even at very high frequencies.

There are 8 PCN series relays at the outputs of the hybrid module, which ensure reliable galvanic isolation of the load and control circuits. The hybrid card is powered using a pluggable screw terminal and 7V to 24V DC must be applied. We chose a 100/10 Mbit Ethernet connection as the interface for the module. This allows for fast data transfer rates and easy connection to the company network and the Internet.

Our hybrid cards are used wherever you want to switch loads without interference and need to protect your devices from overvoltages or transients. The optocouplers realize reliable and very fast acquisition of input signals. You can switch loads safely and cost-effectively using the 8 relays at the output. You also benefit from the timeout protection on the outputs, which switches the relays on or off immediately in the event of a fault.

Our modules comply with RoHS and EMC. They are therefore perfectly prepared for industrial use. In the robust aluminum housing, the electronics are very well protected from the harsh environment of a production hall and can also be easily mounted on a DIN rail.

The module can be easily connected to the Internet via the 100/10 Mbit Ethnernet interface. This allows for easy remote maintenance and monitoring, which is particularly important for external services or quick action in an emergency. You can view and change the states of the outputs using our Yamutec I/O Remote App.
